OG Michigan PG Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against Pickens Academy 18U

It came down to the wire on Saturday, as OG Michigan PG grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 7-6, over Pickens Academy 18U. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the sixth when Avis Pascaul hit a solo home run to center field.


Pickens Academy 18U opened the scoring in the first after Elliot Hoffman grounded out, scoring one run.


Gabriel Ceci singled down the left field line, which helped OG Michigan PG tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.


Pickens Academy 18U captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the third after Quinton Bell doubled to center field, Ayren Edgar singled down the left field line, and James Harroun singled to center field, each scoring one run.


OG Michigan PG captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the fourth after Pickens Academy 18U committed an error, and Jacob Bogojevic was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.


Braylon Pillera was struck by a pitch, which helped Pickens Academy 18U tie the game at five in the top of the fifth.


An error gave OG Michigan PG the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the fifth.


Quinton Bell grounded into a fielder's choice, which helped Pickens Academy 18U tie the game at six in the top of the sixth.


Will Balfour earned the win for OG Michigan PG. The righty surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Brandon Perantoni took the loss for Pickens Academy 18U. The right-handed pitcher went five and one-third innings, allowing seven runs (four earned) on nine hits, striking out two and walking three. Colton Tilley started on the bump for OG Michigan PG. The right-handed pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over four innings, striking out two and walking five. Zolt Incze appeared in relief for OG Michigan PG.


Liam Froman-Husek and Avis Pascaul each collected two hits for OG Michigan PG. Jacob Potter, Jacob Bogojevic, Gabriel Ceci, Liam Froman-Husek, and Avis Pascaul each drove in one run for OG Michigan PG. OG Michigan PG were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. James Hand made the most plays with four.


Ayren Edgar and Braylon Pillera each collected two hits for Pickens Academy 18U. Quinton Bell went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Pickens Academy 18U had a strong eye at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game. Nick Brown and Owen Beebe led the team with three walks each.
