Day One...Baseball in the books!!

All the excitement and misery in one Day.

It was a great day for baseball and this time it was for real. Our 10u team got their first taste of the Ferguson Jenkins Showcase League. They went up against a pretty strong BP Blue team (Welland).  The scores weren't what they hoped it would be.  But at the end of the day, the boys played baseball and the big boys coached. Development is the name of the game and the scores are only part of the process. The big trip to Pizza Hut will come soon!! The next test is tomorrow against the BP Red team (Welland). Rest up and let's go to battle again. 

Our 12u team had some different results against the Central Reds (New Lowell).  Lucas F put in a strong pitching effort against the Reds and came out with his first win of the season. In game 2,  it took a key clutch hit by Matthew F to break open the game and help seal the win for the OG's. Great Job Fellas!! Honorable mention goes out to Sammy Y for putting in a great effort today,  as well. 

Our 13u and the 16u teams were cancelled.  But we will be ready for next Saturday!!
